MADISON, N.J., (March 6, 2025) – What Moves Her®, the advocacy organization designed to empower women in the real estate industry by enhancing their leadership skills and achieve their professional development goals, today proudly celebrated Tania Moore as the recipient of the second ‘Moved By Her Power’ award.

Moore, broker-owner of North Carolina-based ERA Live Moore, has made a notable impact well beyond the buying and selling of real estate. She has led inclusive homeownership programs, provided disaster relief, and built a thriving business focused on empowerment and service. Her leadership exemplifies the power of women transforming the industry.

The ‘Moved By Her Power’ award, a cornerstone recognition of the What Moves Her movement, honors women who have significantly contributed to the betterment of their communities and the real estate industry. Moore was chosen from over 100 nominees for her resilience, leadership, and commitment to making homeownership more accessible—especially after Hurricane Helene.

With over three decades of experience in real estate and nine years with ERA Live Moore Real Estate, Moore leads with compassion and inspires her team to uphold their shared vision of ‘We Empower Dreams Through Real Estate’. She strives to reduce barriers and create diverse programs to help individuals in Raleigh, Asheville, and Western North Carolina achieve their homeownership dreams.

Moore’s compassion for her team also extends to her community. After Hurricane Helene struck in September 2024, she quickly mobilized resources and launched supply drives for food, water, and essential items. Her efforts raised over $75,000 and resulted in more than 1,000 volunteer hours. Her swift action provided critical aid to families in need, reinforcing her role as a leader not just in real estate, but in humanitarian efforts.

In addition to Moore, What Moves Her also honored Cindy Hanson, broker owner of Coldwell Banker CK Select in North Carolina, and Grace Merritt, agent with Sotheby’s International Realty Carmel Brokerage in California, as finalists of the ‘Moved By Her Power’ Award.

Hanson is an invaluable leader, dedicating her time to ensure her team’s professional growth and success. Known for her contagious positivity, with extensive knowledge, she has spearheaded initiatives like ‘Pajamas for Veterans’ and organized home-buying seminars to empower locals to meet their homeownership goals.

Merritt shines through her numerous volunteer activities. She is a board member for ‘Impower’, directing funds to various charitable organizations, and volunteers with Gobundance Women’s Group to help address women’s education and health. She is a six-year volunteer for the National Charity League, supporting 26 local charities, including Meals on Wheels PG and Tatum’s Garden. Additionally, she participates in clean-up efforts, supports women entrepreneurs as a member of Queen Bee Monterey County, and serves as a basketball coach and baseball team mom.
