MADISON, N.J., June 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — ERA Real Estate, a global franchising leader, today announced that Chief Operating Officer Susan Yannaccone earned recognition by the Profiles in Diversity Journal as a 2016 Woman Worth Watching. This annual award honors rising stars who are leading the way to excellence in the workplace and the world.
"Since joining ERA Real Estate in July of 2015, Yannaccone has helped move the organization forward with her laser-focus on growth and innovation," said Charlie Young, president and CEO of ERA Real Estate, who nominated Yannaccone for the award. "Instrumental in creating an enhanced service model that has increased our brokers’ satisfaction with our brand, she has also fostered an internal culture of transparency, collaboration, execution and accountability."
"Collectively, these women are forging ahead with global acclaim in strategies that are making a difference in their workplace, marketplace and around the world," said James Rector, publisher of the Profiles in Diversity Journal. "These leaders bring an array of life experiences and views that consistently produce a variety of new concepts and ideas. In addition, Women Worth Watching® award winners are role models to young women beginning their careers, and an inspiration to women in the pipeline," he added.
As a key member of ERA Real Estate’s executive leadership team, Yannaccone is leveraging her knowledge and experience to continue to facilitate and propel growth for the brand by enhancing ERA’s value proposition to brokers. In addition to playing an integral role in setting the strategic direction for the brand, she is also responsible for servicing, consulting, transitions, learning, events, awards and recognition and general operations for ERA Real Estate.
With a focus on franchisee engagement, satisfaction and growth, she has overseen the addition of a number of newly affiliated companies, notably in Houston, Beverly Hills and the Boston-area, as well as several strategic mergers and acquisitions for existing ERA brokers in Florida, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio.
Yannaccone’s experience leading organizations through transformational change, coupled with her innovative strategic insights, has played a significant role in ERA‘s system-wide implementation of a holistic, end-to-end technology platform called Zap.
Recent franchisee satisfaction survey results conducted by a third party vendor revealed a notable increase in broker satisfaction with the brand, attributed to recent enhancements to the brand’s servicing structure and focus, on-site training and leadership’s promotion of a collaborative culture.
Previously, Yannaccone was named as a Housing Wire 2015 Woman of Influence.
As Chair of Realogy’s Women’s Employee Resource Group, an enterprise-wide initiative focused on talent attraction, development and community, Yannaccone is leading a collaborative effort to elevate women not only within our organization but within the broader real estate services industry as well.
She is also an enthusiastic supporter of local and state organizations supporting women in business including the Executive Women of New Jersey and Dress for Success.
