20-Year U.S. Army Veteran Taps Into the Lifestyle Real Estate Brand to Fuel Future Growth and Continue to Support Local Veterans
MADISON, N.J. (Sept. 18, 2024) – Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Expect Realty located in D’Iberville, MS., is the latest firm to join the lifestyle real estate brand. The veteran-led brokerage has developed a reputation for its expertise in residential properties along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, as well as for its niche ability to assist military veterans who are purchasing property with a VA mortgage.
The six-year-old firm is led by Bryan David, a retired U.S. Army Green Beret and service-disabled combat veteran with more than 20 years of service to our nation, who also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from William Carey University. Born and raised in Biloxi, David spent the majority of his professional career as a Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer Three before redirecting his service-driven attitude toward the communities where he grew up. After returning to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, he obtained his real estate license in 2013, where he put to use his knowledge of construction and renovation that he pursued on the side of his military life. In the decade since, David has led the firm to accumulate countless glowing reviews, including many coming from the area’s veterans. Roughly 25 percent of the firm’s business is with veteran clients. David has also served two terms on the Biloxi Ocean Springs Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors.
Joining David in leadership is fellow owner, Alicia Whitaker, who has served as Director of Operations of the firm since 2019. Whitaker is a fellow Mississippi Gulf Coast native who obtained her real estate license in 2017 and her broker’s license in 2018, working alongside David ever since. Today, Whitaker plays a key role in the training and support of agents, as she regularly goes above and beyond to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the competitive Mississippi Gulf Coast market.
